At the age of 43, he is President of the Energy and Climate Forum, an organization that was born from the will of civil society of all countries belonging to the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) to deepen ties and fight together for victory in the Climate Crisis. 
It is also part of the organization The Climate Reality Project, created in 2016 by environmental activist, former Vice President of the United States of America and Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2007, Al Gore.
