In 2012, Luís founded Follow Inspiration, a technological startup based in Fundão (Portugal), where, in recent years, he has developed the wiiGO project, the first completely autonomous shopping cart to help people with reduced mobility to transport their purchases and other technological solutions specially adapted to the specificities of its users and the industry. He is a pioneer in the way he develops autonomous solutions, using computer vision and sensory fusion, thus allowing it to revolutionize the way robots move between people and inside factories, thus creating a revolutionary technology that culminated in the registration of several patents with concession already in the United States of America, Japan, Canada or Europe and with the application of the technology in France, Spain, Germany and Portugal, capable of turning any robot into an intelligent and autonomous robot.
Outside the business sphere, he is a member of the board of IPDAL - Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also a member of an advisory group to the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. 
He also completed training at Nova Business School in Merger, Acquisition and Restructuring of companies and also on Business Management and Sustainability.
