Chairman of the Executive Commitee

Carlos Vinhas Pereira holds a bachelor's degree from the Catholic University of Lisbon in Business Administration and Management, a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and a PhD in Management Sciences from the Faculty of Paris-Dauphine where he is a professor since 1988 in Business Management and in international related matters. He is co-author of the book "Finance d'Entreprise" editions Economica. 
He held several positions at Banca, BNP and Banco Pinto and was number 2 at Sotto Mayor Paris for 4 years. He was founder and managing director of Fidelidade France for more than 22 years. In 2019 he created a consulting firm, "Aquiles Consulting" and an insurance broker "Insuredin courtage" in France, companies that also operate in Portugal. 
Since 2006, he is president of the Portuguese Franco Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the first bilateral chamber to be recognized as publicly useful by the Portuguese Government in 2019. The Chamber has almost 500 members and was the origin of the Salon of Portuguese Real Estate and Tourism in Paris in 2012, an event that allowed the development of the manifest interest of French nationals in tourism and investment in Portugal. Since 2021, he has been Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Network of Portuguese Chambers of Commerce in the World (RCCP). He was awarded the Order of Merit by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, in 2009.
